The tour of Pushkin and the Catherine Palace was extremely informative and visually stunning. Dmitri provided us with a wealth of historical information, and it made the tours so much more valuable than it would have been without his knowledge. the Palace itself was stunning, and we enjoyed every moment.
The Grand Tour was an absolute masterpiece. We have never seen anything like the Hermitage, with the incredible mixture of art, architecture and historical importance. The Peter and Paul Fortress was also memorable, especially because it`s central role in the City`s history. We were astounded by the amount of knowledge Dmitri had about all of the things we saw. I cannot understand how one person can know so much. Ending with St.Isaac`s was tremendous. It is such a stunning marvel.

Nice visit to the palace. Pity that pictures are not allowed inside. We would have have reviewed some more background on the bottom garden, and the fountains. In particular there was no opportunity to have a detailed look at the main cascade and its statues.
